We deal with some of the most complex defects, including TAPVC, TGA, Pulmonary Atresia, and Truncus Arteriosus in newborns, and have achieved a striking 98% success rate. Recognizing the underserved need for heart failure and mechanical circulatory support, Star Cardiac Services is one of the only hospitals in the state to employ pediatric ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenators) for critically ill children.
In case of heart defects identified before the birth of the child, we are equipped to offer pre-delivery diagnosis, deliver the child, and perform relevant surgery immediately after the birth of the child.
Regular programs are conducted to train new practitioners in pediatric ECMO. We also offer a 2-year fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care under the Pediatric Cardiac Society of India.
