His recommendations were included in guidelines of Coronary Bypass Surgery by the European and American Cardio Thoracic Surgery and Cardiology Associations.
  • First Indian to present a paper on Randomised study on CABG Surgery conducted in India at AATS , annual Meeting held at Philadelphia, USA, 2006
  • For his contributions in the field of medicine, he was conferred “A.P Scientist Award of the Year” 2007 by A.P State Council of Science and Technology, Govt. of A.P.
  • Conducted first Indian survey on use of “Bilateral Internal Mammary Artery Grafting during CABG in India” and presented at AATS International Coronary Congress, New York 2015. 
  • Founder of the Sajja Heart Foundation, a committed organization to ensure research in the field of Cardiovascular Disease to fit the needs of Indian population.
  • Delivered - Dr.C.S.Sadasivan Memorial Oration at 60th Annual Conference of Indian Association of Cardiovascular-Thoracic Surgeons held at Kovalam, Trivandrum (2014).
